I am glad you are back, Blue, and that my “smoke” signal reached you. We all have ups and downs in life, but I truly wish your ups are plentiful, and your downs scarce.

humans reAs someone who uses “wishing and hoping you are doing well” truly, and sincerely meaning it, I will offer a different point of view, my point of view—that is, for other people, your thought may as well ring true. I am sure I am not alone on my way of thinking.
I use it in two very specific scenarios; (a) when wanting to touch bases briefly, letting the person know I care for them, and have them in my mind, and (b) when not wanting to come across as intruding (that is, giving the person their “space”, for various reasons), while still letting them know that I care. In both cases it is a knock at the proverbial door, allowing the person I care for to open up, should they desire. βΊοΈ

We ended up buying another Google Nest video doorbell (3rd generation) because (a) was the cheapest (with holidays discounts), and (b) we do not have to pay anything extra per month to keep 30 days worth of video events. Our old one was HD, the new one is 2K. The difference is night and day.

“Following a thorough and rigorous evaluation of all candidates, we regret to inform you that we have chosen to move forward with another candidate for this specific role. Please know that this decision was not made lightly, and we genuinely appreciate the effort and time you dedicated to our process.”
My aim wasn’t money driven. If a good manager was hired (we don’t know who it is yet), that’s all it matters.
re thoughts workYay, super glad Claudine is drawn to me, based on the above! I fit at least two of her “requirements”. ππ Contributing a little of transparency too, I genuily found you to be an awesome person and friend, Claud! There, biodegradable note in a bottle tossed on the Internet “sea”.
claudine friends reThe biggest problem I see with Instagram (same pretty much with all Meta apps) is that without an account one can’t do much, if anything at all. I agree that to participate it is often recommended—though shouldn’t be required—having an account. But having to create an account, and login, just to view? Now, that’s meta! (no pun intended π€)

It believe it means they are not leaning left, nor right or, in other words, neutral. Kind of “factual, impartial, and fair”. Makes sense, right? Anyway, unless told otherwise, “that’s my story, and I sticking to it.”

To Americans: forget about any embarrassment or shame when looking up Philippine history and stuff before y’all got here. The Filipino mindset is all about letting go of social barriers in order to be nourished by someone else’s cooking.
For reasons I can’t fully explain, this thought makes me feel at ease, and welcomed. It also carries a witty truth. A good food is a good food, and a door opener!
reI REMEMBER Looking out a large window with an interesting view, with 2 men facing away from my side. One of them walks away, another stays in place, standing still. A few seconds later, I realize he was peeing.
Oh my god!! A room with a view or, shall I say, a room with views? π
